Parks of Catalunya




In 2020 many city residents of Cataluña, tired of the lockdown, turned their visits to natural parks into their go-to weekend activity. More people than usual longed for some time in nature and when the lockdown was removed the natural reserves experienced their busiest human attendance in the last years.

 Diputació Barcelona, the local government institution, then decided to launch an awareness campaign for all the visitors, old and new, to take good care of the parks during their visits.





The campaign invited people to behave civilly while in the parks, inspiring attendants to show the respect and appreciation the parks deserve, and leaving their surroundings as they found them - or better. 

12 “rules” were turned into illustrations and then published as individual posters. The client wanted the illustration style to be simple, but not childish, as the campaign targeted mainly adults. 
In addition, the chosen colors were very eye-catching and its limited, but strong palette, complemented the visuals very nicely.
