Editorial Illustration
As part of my work with Black & White Zebra, I create custom visual assets and illustrations that bring their editorial articles to life. This project was for The CPO, a publication aimed at product managers. The article explored cross-functional collaboration—what it is, how it works, and why it’s essential to implement.
My challenge was to transform a complex, process-driven topic into something visual and story-driven. To do this, I developed a series of orchestra-inspired illustrations for the section “How to Build a Cross-Functional Team”. I used the metaphor of an orchestra: different instruments (like different disciplines) working together in harmony to achieve a shared outcome.

By extending this metaphor across the article, each illustration built on the theme, making the piece not only more cohesive but also more engaging and fun to explore. This approach turned abstract concepts into relatable, memorable visuals that supported the editorial voice while adding a storytelling layer.
